Enough to keep two-deep leadership wherever your Scouts are, including your campsite all week. Plan for a few extra. If a Scout needs medical care off property, the trip follows Safeguarding Youth guidelines (no one-on-one time), and your campsite still needs two adults while they’re gone. In a pinch, leaders from another unit can help cover but do not depend upon it.
