You don’t have to, but we strongly recommend it. If your unit arrives by motor coach, bring at least one vehicle along. If you’re flying in, plan on at least one rental.
If someone needs non-emergency medical care off site, your unit is responsible for driving them, and Safeguarding Youth guidelines apply both to the trip and to everyone who stays in camp. If you don’t have a vehicle, we have to find a staff member who has one free. We’ll make it work, but it’s always easier with your own. In a real emergency, camp medical staff arrange emergency transport.
