About the badges
Forestry
Scouts explore the remarkable complexity of a forest, identify many species of trees and plants, and learn the roles they play in a forest’s life cycle. They also discover the resources forests provide and the part people play in keeping forests healthy.
Nature
There is a close connection between the soil, the plants, and all animal life, including people. Scouts discover the animals and plants in camp’s backyard, learn to identify them, and learn the role each plays in the food chain.
Signing up
Your unit leader registers each Scout for classes in MyCouncil when your week's registration opens in late April. Classes fill up, so list a second and third choice for each session.
