About the badges
Mammal Study
Mammal Study introduces Scouts to mammals and their role in nature. Scouts learn to identify common species, understand their habitats, and explore the importance of conservation through observation and hands-on activities.
Nature
There is a close connection between the soil, the plants, and all animal life, including people. Scouts discover the animals and plants in camp’s backyard, learn to identify them, and learn the role each plays in the food chain.
Signing up
Your unit leader registers each Scout for classes in MyCouncil when your week's registration opens in late April. Classes fill up, so list a second and third choice for each session.
